This will be the last newsflash from the photo club for the current year.

First of all, the board want to wish all members a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

We invite all members to participate in the club mastership for 2025
We compete in 3 different sections as always:
1 – Color with max 3 pictures
2 – Black & White (Monochrome) with max. 3 pictures
3 – Collection with one (1) series of 3 – 5 pictures

• As a total you can submit max. 11 pictures
• All pictures should be in JPG file format
• A suitable size in pixels for the longest side is 1980 pixels
• A suitable size of the file in bites is between 1 – 4 Mb
• Files (pictures) that are too small could be poor in printing quality.
• The club is always printing the winner’s pictures and adds them to our permanent exhibition at the Ericsson premises*)
• All pictures should be named with section (color), number, and your name e.g. colour_1_Cristianlintrup.jpg
• Submission to utstallning@erifk.se
• Latest submission date is January 25th, 2026
• The outcome will be shared at the club meeting in March 2026.

The first club meeting of 2026 will take place on January 27, with program details to be shared at a later date.  

The theme of the month for January is SNOW, submit your picture at latest 25 of January to utstallning@erifk.se

Welcome to the November meeting of the photo club

This time with loads of focus on picture analysis.

Regards the board

We are starting up the autumn 2025 semester with the annual Mini marathon on the 21^st of August. The Mini marathon is a competition where the participants are to document four (4) themes within a limited area and limited time.

This year we are running the mini mara at the Vitabergsparken area in the south of Stockholm city.

Participants will be given the 4 themes  at the meeting/starting point and the limits of the area on a simple map.

Submission of pictures: each theme is to be represented by one picture, alternatively you can pick one of the themes and present it as a collection of 3- 5 pictures. So, in total you can participate with a maximum of 3 + 5 pictures.

All pictures should be in JPG format and not larger than 2 Mb. Name the files by theme and send them to utstallning@erifk.se.

DATE: 21 of August – a Thursday
TIME at meeting point: 17:00 (the  sundown is at 20:20)
MEETING POINT: In front of the entrance of SOFIA Kyrka
DURATION: until it is too dark to photograph

The club is now commencing its summer recess.  The next activity is the club’s annual Photo Marathon, ”Minimaran,” which will take place on August 21 and involve illustrating four different themes.  More information about meeting place and time will be available shortly.

The club meetings begin in September, and all dates will be available on the website’s calendar in June.
